This international conference is committed to developing substantive knowledge about human occupation for the purpose of optimising the occupational lives of individuals, groups, communities and societies.
Please join us in this continuing critical conversation, awakening us to the power of occupation in the everyday. We are inviting abstracts for research papers, theoretical papers, panels, and posters.

Conference Sub-themes
The overarching theme of this conference is “Occupation: Awakening to the Everyday”.
Sub-themes include:
Generating new understandings of the complexity and power of occupation in everyday life.
Exploring the relationship between occupation and human development, health and wellbeing for individuals and society.
Promoting and sustaining interdisciplinary research collaborations.
Expanding and transforming methodologies and methods.
Developing innovative clinical practice, from an occupational science perspective.
Enriching opportunities for occupational science education and curriculum development.
You are invited to submit abstracts for individual papers, posters, as well as panel proposals for inclusion in the conference. The key dates for submissions and notification of acceptance are as follows:
Monday 11 February, 2013: Abstract proposal submission opens
Friday 5 April, 2013: Deadline for abstract proposal submissions
Monday 29 April, 2013: Notification of acceptance of abstracts
Monday 29 April, 2013: Registration opens
Friday 28 June, 2013: Early Bird Registration ends
