ISTTON is organising a FREE pre-conference workshop:
“Collective engagement for building repertoires of action for social transformation through occupation”.
The aim of the workshop is to co-develop, learn and experience ways of working together towards social transformation. Participants will engage in an emancipatory education process aimed at deepening understanding of their positionality in relation to social transformation processes, the conflicts and barriers experienced in attempts to enact social transformation through occupation, and how their practices – or repertoires of action – can themselves transform. Participants will also collectively reflect on the process engaged in, considering its potential applicability within their contexts for engaging collectives within transformational processes. Open Space Technology and Emancipatory Workshops will be used as methodological tools.
It will take place 24th August, 09:00-16:00 (pre-conference day of the OSE Conference 2023) in Odense.
